Rod Zeeb is the Co-Founder and CEO of The Heritage Institute (THI), and co-developer of The Heritage Process.TM THI provides introductory courses, advanced training and certification in The Heritage Process, as well as ongoing mentoring, coaching and marketing support for professional advisors. THI also provides consulting services directly to individuals and families

As an attorney, Rods practice focused on business, financial, estate planning and administration, real estate, and related tax issues. He speaks nationally on issues related to The Heritage Process, and is the co-author of the book, Beating the Midas Curse. Advisors from around the country attend Heritage Institute training courses that he develops and teaches.

Rod graduated Summa Cum Laude from Willamette College of Law in 1986, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Willamette Law Review.

Who We Are

The Heritage Institute (THI) is a community of like-minded men and women dedicated to making a difference in the world.  It includes professionals from a variety of financial, legal, insurance, non-profit and other advisory and client-service professions.

We founded THI and created The Heritage ProcessTM  to be a bridge between the ‘products’ of traditional planning (things like wills and trusts) and the hopes and dreams that parents and grandparents have for their family to be unified, productive and healthy for many generations.

To achieve that goal, the family must learn to identify what matters most to them, how to work together, and how to equip succeeding generations to deal with the responsibilities and opportunities of both the financial and the emotional inheritances they will receive.  That is what we help them to accomplish.

Our purpose is to assist families and individuals to achieve what matters most to them.

Advisors trained to provide the Heritage ProcessTM are located in the USA, Western Europe and Brazil.

What We Do

THI provides The Heritage ProcessTM  to families and individuals in collaboration with their advisors. We provide training, certification and practice support regarding The Heritage Process to professionals. THI also provides The Heritage Process directly to families and individuals. We support foundations that provide scholarships to professionals and non-profits, and raises awareness of the benefits of heritage planning.
